![]() Bator Sr., 98, of Wyomissing, formerly of Sinking Spring and West Hazleton, died peacefully of natural causes on Tuesday in Reading Hospital surrounded by his family. ![]() Green St., West Hazleton, is assisting the family. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. until the time of Mass Tuesday at the church. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Transfiguration Church, West Hazleton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Ronald's companion, Deborah Verbitsky and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Eugene Christina and his wife, Laurie, Milton and Michael Christina and his wife, Barbara, Hazle Twp. Surviving are his three beloved brothers, Edward Christina and his wife, Gin, Fredericksburg, Va. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, Dr. ![]() Prior to his retirement, Ronald was employed by the Hazleton Area School District as an elementary education teacher and also was a coach for sporting events. He was a graduate of West Hazleton High School, Class of 1965, then attended Bloomsburg State College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.
